Birla School, Pilani Principal Leads Session on Inclusive School Safety

The Principal of Birla School, Pilani, conducted the concluding session on “Inclusive School Safety” at the three-day workshop on Emergency Preparedness & Safety Audits, held at Birla Public School, Kishangarh, from 25–27 September 2026, under the aegis of the Boarding Schools’ Association of India (BSAI).
The session highlighted school safety as a comprehensive and continuous responsibility extending beyond physical infrastructure and statutory compliance. It addressed campus security, emotional well-being, personal safety, and accessibility, emphasising the need to create an environment where every student feels safe, supported, and included.
Discussions focused on systematic risk assessment, evidence-based safety audits, clearly defined responsibilities, effective reporting mechanisms, and timely corrective action. The Principal emphasised how structured audit tools can help schools proactively identify vulnerabilities and strengthen safety practices.
The workshop provided a valuable platform for engagement with school leaders, bursars, administrative personnel, and pastoral staff, reinforcing their shared responsibility for building safer and more inclusive school environments.
